My daughter has asked me to buy her a Vera Bradley lunch box for her high school lunches this year. Vera Bradley is pretty expensive in my eyes. Luckily, I am pretty frugal and she doesn't mind getting deals on things too. Off to Ebay I go for some Vera.
I have also been in the market for a vintage lunch box for my husbands lunches. I stopped by etsy.com to see what goodies they have for sale for new and vintage. Some of these are just too beautiful to use and would be wonderful for a collection or on display in the vintage decorated home.

They don't make them like they used to. I hope you liked what I found on Etsy.
Happy Housewifing!!
I want a vintage lunchbox too! I have a plaid vintage thermos with a blue lid, but the inside is in bad condition so I use it as a display piece only. I hope to find a good vintage thermos and lunchbox I can use every day.
ReplyDeleteI was able to find a teal vintage "holiday" thermos at an estate yard sale last month for $2. I send it with my hubby to work now. A good lunch box is hard to find while thrifting around. I find plenty of Care Bear and Strawberry Shortcake vintage lunch boxes but I don't think my hubby would go for those..lol

Mrs Jen, thank you so much for including me and my Happy Homes thermos in your blog today. You certainly brought back a lot of memories from my childhood..... a huge hug to you for that!! Thom
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by Thom. I appreciate the lovely comment.
Deleteahhhh how adorable! I love these, especially that first one. That is quite a find. Makes me wish I could take something like that to work with my lunch in it. However I'm sure I will get some look lol!
ReplyDeleteGreat post :)

Hi Liz,
DeleteThanks for commenting. I wish our vintage style didn't garner so many "looks". Lol! I was able to get my husband to take a vintage "Holiday" thermos to work with him. He works with all men and didn't want to be the odd duck..boy's will be boy's I guess..lol
