10 Things You Might Not Know About Me.

I've been writing on my blog for a couple of years now and thought I would give a little more info about myself to my visitors. I love blogging. I recently set up a small office space of my own to dedicate more time to it. Here it goes:

1. I have 5 children..yes FIVE. I have 4 girls and 1 boy. They range in age from 9 to 22.

2. I own an Alpaca herd. It's a small herd of 6 female huyuacas (pronounced WUK-KUYA).

3. I am a Certified Paralegal. Yes, I am educated but choose to stay at home and love it.

4. I was a blonde up until 2 year ago. Yes, it's true. I had in my mind that blonde was best, but that got old after 25 years. My hair thanks me as well. I love my dark hair and blue eyes. Liz Taylor and Audrey Hepburn are my favorite brunettes.

5. I am a very young Grammie..GASP..Yes, I have 4 grandsons under 5 years old. My older girls are married and are stay at home mommies too.

6. I dress in my vintage about 95% of the time. The exceptions are when I am working in the barn with the animals. I just can't ruin an authentic 1950's dress that way.

7. I have been married 3 times. I finally got it right this time. :)

8. I'm 5' 5" tall and 107 lbs . I do eat burgers though. :)

9. I've been homeless.

10. I live in Maine, USA

I believe we can overcome anything. We can create a life we love, piece by piece, no matter what happens.

The big thing in life is not what happens to us, but what we do with what happens to us.

  1. You are a beautiful Grammie! I am a Nonni to two precious boys even though I am still somewhat young- I just turned 40. I truly enjoy your blog and am glad you shared some information about yourself.

  2. What a lovely way to get to know you better. Thank you so much for sharing these facts with us. My stars, you're young looking, sweet lady. Based on that photo, I would honestly have thought that I was a few years older than you (I'll be 31 this week on Friday). You're a beautiful woman inside and out and don't look old enough to have five kids, let alone some grandkids, too.

How awesome that own an an alpaca herd. Years ago our neighbours had some llamas and they were very sweet creatures, though I know that not all alpacas and llamas are.
