Out thrifting in June.
9/17/14 - At home. Simple yellow T-shirt and Plaid Circle Skirt I made with vintage fabric. Wearing my crinoline. Green clip on vintage earrings. Simple slip on shoes.
What pattern did you use for the yellow skirt? I tried making a dirndl skirt without a pattern the other day and it was a complete fail.

This second tutorial helped me make the gathers in the skirt. I actually use yarn as the gathering string (as you will see in the tutorial). I seriously would not be able to make gathers with a piece of thread like real seamstress's do. I just do it this way.

I hope this helps.
